So you start to hit the ball very well. However, you still have struggled to achieve a real change in weight.
Sound familiar?
In addition to the new stack and tilt method, a traditional golf swing requires a shift in emphasis to all the parts and pieces together in a concerted effort to conduct a ceaseless efforts athletic.
In fact there are two shifts of weight in each swing, if done correctly. One is the shift of the set-up oron the right side in the backswing.
And the other is the shift on the left side of the recession. To me it sounds pretty damn easy.
It is also likely.
Ask someone who is not disabled, shift your weight from side to side. Almost all of them will do with ease.
Each time step, it is, you move the weight. Keep your weight hundreds of times a day. If you're around for a long timeOnce they are constantly changing load. They move like the weight as part of the body language that, perhaps, with whatever you do, bored.
Come on .. weight transfer is simple. They do it all the time all day every day.
So what the hell is wrong with you and the golf swing, and thousands of others who I might add. What is a change of emphasis in the golf swing is so difficult?
I personally think it has to do with the mentality of "hit", whereHitting the ball is the goal, without regard to other aspects of technology that could contribute to better results.
Like a weight shift.
Some people make a weight shift, but it is in the wrong order. It's called reverse weight shift. And 'when the weight on the front foot on leave and then moved to the back foot to the crisis. An ugly, which gives really bad results.
They are the ones that fall nearly the impact. Or swingthe left foot from the ground after impact. One step, lanky with incredibly high handicap. And even muscle strains. It seems a move rink rather than a golf swing.
I admit, though grudgedly that some people can hit well enough with either move. Somehow get the clubface square at impact and fall fast enough so that minimal damage is done to fly balls. Still does not do it right for everyone.
I seePeople who have large fluctuations in retrospect, in the perfect position to make the transition to a recession as a professional. Just to totally ruined by little or no weight transfer, or moving dreaded reverse weight. Kills me to see that.
So what? How the hell are you going to be no shifting of weight with a weight shift, and had no idea of the world, how to do it and the ball?
I'd like to try something. With a completely open mind. Ewithout focusing on results in the head as it relates to ball flight, distance or direction. I want to take a 5 iron, has a good set-up and excellent grip.
Now, place the club behind the ball and ready to strike. Are you ready, well, hit as hard as you can. Hit the driving range. Kill him. Whack it broke, killing the thing, to pound it, everything. Oh, wait ... I forgot to tell you that do not allow a swing back in this exercise.
Simpleclubhead behind the ball and hit return without any swing as hard as you can.
After a successful couple of times you have allowed a swing back. This is an abbreviated back swing, however, will stick out his head, never be greater than the right knee. And then there are the same. Hit the snot out of it.
If you do not get some sort of weight transfer, this is perhaps a good sport bowling.
Ask someone if you doalways change.
Here's another drill. You have no club. Jimmy Ballard had this in his book.
Stand to the side of a golf cart. The seat should be against the left shoulder. And you're facing the side of the seat and car. Now press the back seat with his right hand hard enough to move the machine back. Just do it at first, so as not to hurt you to do. But after you have taken. Give it a good punch. To create the feeling should be when it hits theBall.
It 's probably a good weight shift, if we really tried to move the carriage. If not, well, sorry.
Think of the weight transfer is not swaying of the hips, this is a side impact, and then a rotation of the hips. This is done as if it were the same movement. Also be careful not to influence the moving distance. This will bring too much weight too far on the right foot, which makes it hard to the left once again on the page.
No wavering.
There is no magic move a weight. For those whoof you who have problems with it, these tips may help. But he needs some work. Then, go to work.
